Chicken Masala Rice recipe By Rida Aftab


Ingredients

  • Rice 1/2 kg
  • Chicken 400 gms
  • Tomatoes 4 (medium chopped)
  • Ginger 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Onions 3 (large sliced in round)
  • Green chilies 4 (chopped)
  • Whole cumin 1 tbsp
  • Whole spices powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili flakes 1 tsp
  • Soya sauce 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Eggs 2
  • Yellow food color a pinch
  • Fresh coriander 1 tsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup

Cooking Directions

  1. Boil chicken with a pinch of salt and shredded in to small pieces.
  2. Boil Rice with adequate amount of salt till fully done.
  3. Heat oil in a wok, add onions and cook till colorless.
  4. Add tomatoes, green chilies and ginger cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add all spice powder, whole cumin, red chili flakes, soya sauce, black pepper and salt.
  6. Add shredded chicken, cook for a minute.
  7. Add boiled rice and mix well and turn off the flame.
  8. In a bowl mix eggs with yellow color, fresh coriander and salt to taste.
  9. Fry eggs and then cut into strips.
  10. Add egg strips to rice and serve hot.
